How do I enter a UTC offset?
Use the offset at the birthplace on the birth date, not today's offset. For example, standard Eastern time is −05:00; Eastern daylight time is −04:00. India uses +05:30. Historical rules vary. If uncertain, verify with a reliable historical timezone source before treating a near-boundary placement as settled.
